BIOGRAPHY
Although Little Alien has been around in one form or another since early 2004, the current line-up is only 2.5
years old. In that time the band has worked hard to earn a reputation as one of Cambridge's best live acts,
delivering their catchy songs with a charm and sense of humour that has won them a lot of support.
Martin and Pablo met in 2005 whilst they were both completing PhDs at Cambridge University. Martin and (then
drummer) Eric Greveson had been looking for a new bassist and Pablo was perfect.
After a lot of gigs (and a lot of fun), Eric left the band to join the real world in 2006, leaving Little
Alien with no drummer for a year. Then, in early 2007, Martin was introduced to Pete via a mutual friend.
Everything fell into place and the band hasn't looked back since.
2009 has been a great year for the band, with a long list of successful shows and a recent interview on Cambridge's
209 Radio station. All the success has prompted the band to begin recording a second album, which will most likely
be available early next year. Little Alien are what being in a band is all about: good music, good company and good times. Not for nothing have they been dubbed "local
pop-punk heroes".
